UPDATES POSTED JULY 22ND, 2026
Site visit updates and questions raised through the July 21st deadline.
1. A site visit walk-through was held on July 16th at 10am.
2. Conditions noted during the walk-through were standing water throughout the building and significant moisture damage to electrical and HVAC systems in the mechanical room.
3. Question raised in reference to whether or not sprinklers would be required in the remodel. Research indicates a sprinkler system is not required.

Project Overview
The North Country Community Recreation Center is seeking Construction Manager services for the rehabilitation and expansion of the existing recreation center into a comprehensive community wellness center.
Anticipated Project Work
The proposed project may include rehabilitation of the existing building; roof replacement; environmental remediation and cleanup; pool rehabilitation; accessibility and storage improvements; new HVAC and electrical systems; flooring replacement; and construction of a connected building addition.
Additional work may include exercise and wellness spaces, restroom facilities, an indoor walking track, sports and multipurpose areas, revenue-generating rental space, excavation, concrete work, grading, drainage, driveway and parking improvements, and landscaping.
